Our California Division in Huntington Beach is seeking a skilled Toolroom Programmer to join our talented team.
The Toolroom Programmer is responsible for programming, operating (as needed), the set up and testing of programs once created. Gage, fixture design and tooling experience is a must. Strong SolidWorks (CAD) and Mastercam (CAM) software required.
What You’ll Do:
- Program CNC Machines: Create programs for CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls) to shape precision tooling components using SolidWorks and Mastercam.
- Operate & Test: Set up, dry run, and test programs to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Design Solutions: Bring your gage, fixture, and tooling design expertise to life.
- Collaborate: Work with team members to ensure schedules and quality standards are met.
- Inspect & Verify: Perform visual inspections and measurements to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.
- Maintain & Improve: Uphold a clean, organized work area with our 5S system and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience operating CNC machining centers and lathes.
- Proficiency in Mastercam (CAD) and SolidWorks (CAM).
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc programming and machining tooling components.
- Strong technical skills in CNC programming and Wire EDM machine operations.
