Order Entry Clerk - Part Time

Shipping and Receiving Order Entry Clerk -   PART TIME    

Company Background:   American Heat Treating, Inc. (AHT) located in Monroe, CT, was founded in 1981 to serve the saw bland and tooling businesses. It has become one of the finest and most versatile heat-treating facilities in the Northeast. Today, the company serves a variety of industries. AHT provides pick-up and delivery services in the southern and central areas of Connecticut. 

Summary:  To produce work orders. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter incoming purchase orders to produce a work order.
• Contact customers to obtain missing required information on their purchase orders to produce work orders.
• Take calls from customers when possible.

• Qualifications, Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs – a must
• Experience with production software 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Parts Management is preferred.
