Precision Resource seeks Packers to join our well-established, stable Vernon Hills, Illinois manufacturing division. We're approximately 30 miles north of Chicago and 30 miles south of Kenosha, Wisconsin.  We’re a small-medium sized division of our solid, privately held, global company that innovates and manufactures a high volume of metal parts for automotive, aerospace, hardware and other industries. Responsibilities

  • Sort, inspect and pack customer metal parts efficiently and according to work instructions. 
  • Operate very basic Packing and inspection related equipment.
  • Use basic measuring devices and report discrepancies to the Lead person.
  • Safely operate all required lifting/moving devises
  • Participate attentively in and apply all required product, process, and safety training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Accurately record time of jobs packed and workday on computer (will train).
  • Absolutely reliable attendance at work.
  • Compliance with relevant policies, procedures and instructions, including Code of Conduct

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read and write in English; bilingual Spanish ideal.
  • Able to follow basic verbal and written instructions.
  • Use basic math skills for counting and measuring.
  • Work at a fast past sorting and packing parts efficiently.
  • Capable of standing, using hand trucks, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs. 
  • Perform as expected starting at $16 - $19 depending on shift (shift differential is 10% above base rate).
