About the Role
Our California Division in Huntington Beach seeks a skilled CNC Programmer/Set-Up Technician to join our innovative Engineering team. This position plays a key role in improving existing manufacturing processes, integrating automation, and supporting daily operations through equipment setup and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do
- Integrate Machinery: Incorporate new machinery and equipment into the production process seamlessly.
- Setup & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on setup and resolve issues with manufacturing and automation equipment.
- Fixture Design: Create fixtures for CNC machining and CMM inspection.
- Drive Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and operating procedures, with a focus on CNC machining and automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Support team leaders and members in evaluating and implementing ongoing improvement projects.
What You Bring
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings and schematics.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks (a plus).
- Familiarity with controls, industrial robotics, conveyor systems, and PLC programming is valued.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of manual machining experience.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (preferred).
- CNC programming experience, ideally with Mastercam.
- 5-axis CNC machining expertise (a plus).
