Reporting to the Division Manager and Corporate Controller you will ensure the reliability of financial information and the efficiency of accounting processes.

The Division Controller will be responsible for coordinating, administering and controlling the financial operation of the division, ensuring sound financial policies, practices and procedures that safeguard the Company’s assets and support the strategic goals and objectives of the business, while maintaining the integrity of the accounting function. Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates all operational functions related to general accounting, costing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Manage and reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
- Evaluate current accounting procedures, propose, and implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for Divisional finance initiatives and to lead efforts regarding the development of accurate standard cost and profit analysis (including by part).
- Accurate inventory counts, valuation, and records.
- Coordination of the capital appropriations approval process.
- Developing and submitting accurate and timely reporting in accordance with the Company’s financial cycles.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational review & management meetings.
- Develop annual Business Plan coordinating input from management team.
- Ensures the application and compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Educates and works with divisional personnel to understand and implement better financial planning, forecasting, cost records and control over resources
- Prepares working paper files and financial statements for the year-end audit.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in costing, financial analysis & planning.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll, accounting and ERP systems and applications.
- Expert level MS Office suite
